JODIE HAWTHORNE, AU

Jodie Hawthorne grew up on Tasmania's northwest coast.  After spending more than a decade living, studying and working in Asia, mainly in China and Tibet, she has settled back in Tasmania.  Jodie has a BA in Chinese Mandarin and a Graduate Diploma in Folklore Studies. She dabbles in various mediums including ink, oil pastel, installation and photography.  Her poetry has been widely published.  In 2007 a collection of her haiku, Watching Pilgrims Watching Me was published by Pardalote Press, Tasmania. These haiga incorporate haiku from that collection.
