These three haiga are a special treat. Featuring Maria's haiku, they have been created in collaboration with her 15 year old daughter, Tumi, who did the photography and created the haiga. Welcome to Haigaonline!
Maria lives in South Africa with her husband, daughter Tumi, and their family cat and dog. Her haiku, tanka, haibun and rengay have been published in the USA, Japan, India, Canada, the UK and Australia. She is a member of the Tanka Society of America and the Evergreen Haiku Group in Japan. Her work has placed in numerous contests and she recently won second place in the Yellow Moon tanka sequence contest in Australia.
