We are pleased to welcome James to Haigaonline. James is a construction professional, who began writing again about seven years ago after a twenty-year hiatus. A fan of the Japanese arts, he enjoys reading and writing tanka, haiku, senryu, dodoitsu and renga, and has published poems in Texas Poetry Calendar, Indian Heritage Quarterly, Frogpond, the Journal of the American Haiku Society, Lynx and Simply Haiku. He also has poems in Amaze, Sol-Magazine, Rose and Thorn, Eclectica, Lotus Blooms Journal and as a second place finisher in Mail Call Journal's Fall 1998 History Poetry Contest.
