ROBERT WILSON, California US
and ADRIANA DE CASTRO, New York, US
Robert needs little introduction to readers in the haiku community.
He is the editor of Simply Haiku and the author of the acclaimed haibun
e-book Vietnam Ruminations.
Brazilian-born Adriana De Castro is a New York artist, poet and musician
whose pastel dreamscapes recall the surrealist painter Salvador Dali. She
herself describes her art as seeking to communicate the “abstract inner
language of human conscious awareness in its connection to the divine.”
Of the genesis of these haiga, Robert has written, “She [Adriana] is an
exceptional artist who is unafraid to take chances and has a distinct, fresh
voice. After seeing her wonderful work, I contacted her and asked if she
would like to do a collaborative project, and she agreed.”
