About our first featured haijin
LORIN FORD, Victoria, AU

A former high school English teacher, Lorin recently turned to haiku and has immediately received recognition for the excellence of her work. In 2005 she won the May Shiki Free Format Kukai, garnered a commendation in the 18th Seed Pearls competiton, and had haiku published in Haiku Harvest, Yellow Moon, the Mainichi Daily News and World Haiku Review.
