As she describes it, Debbie "works in information technology to fund her poetry obsessions and to pay for her children's ever increasing college tuition". Among the many places her poetry has been published are Modern Haiku, bottle rockets, The Heron's Nest, Hummingbird, Simply Haiku and World Haiku Review. In addition to haiku, her wide-ranging interests include science fiction poetry and most notably American Cinquain.
