Ashe describes herself as an outdoor person. With her children grown, she embarked upon a career in countryside conservation. Her work place, or as she puts it: "her playground," is the Surrey Hills AONB (Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty), a national park of sorts on the border of London, England.
Ashe has been reading and writing poetry for many years. She is active in different mediums and crafts including pyrography; basketry; charcoal sketching to charcoal burning; coppicing to stick furniture, painting to papermaking; to name but a few.
Ashe is an active member of the World Haiku Club's Multimedia E-Forum and not only contributes actively, but is helpful in guiding others in improving their multimedia skills.
In doing her digital artwork, she uses Coreldraw Essentials, both the photo editing and the draw/vector programs.
