Hirome Inoue, whose haigo (haiku pen name) is Hiromi Maya, was born in Sapporo, Japan, and works with the the 'Ehime Prefecture Government'. He is a member of the 'Taka' (Eagle) haiku group, the 'Haiku International Association, Ani, (avant-garde haiku group), Ichigo Kukai (Japanese haiku in Matsuyama), and Koshi (traditional haiku group). Hiromi was also a member of the distinguished 'shiki team' administering the 'Shiki Internet Salon', and has become very well known for his ability to translate Japanese/English.
