BIOGRAPHY

Birke69 = Heike Sackmann Birke69 made her first experience in pastel drawing and oil paintings.  During her years in Japan from 1990 to 2002, she studied Japanese ink painting.

From April to May 2002, Heike had her first teaching experience.  After her return to Germany (fall 2002), she gave her exhibition "The four noble one" in the VHS-Waiblingen.  In 2003, she started her own ink painting classes in Germany.

2002 was the beginning of Heike's interest in haiga, and at 'WHC', she found a platform where she could associate with other people who share her interest in haiga (like an'ya), and collaborate together.
