Alan Summers is involved with transmedia events to bring across haiku to a wider audience. He is a haiku event promoter organising haiku from inner-city rainforests http://www.at-bristol.org.uk/wildwalk/Kukai.htm to cafes, pubs, nightclubs, and noodlebars!
He has led numerous workshops for children, and adults, including those who have special needs, and rehabilitation.
Alan is a former General Secretary of the British Haiku Society; and is a lifetime member of the Fellowship of Australian Writers.
He has been in various literature festivals with both workshops, readings, and haiku/haibun performance.
