DEADLINE: postmarked no later than 1 September, 2003
ADJUDICATION: 1 October, and winners will be included in the autumn issue of 'haigaonline'
HOW TO ENTER: send (2) two haiku only per entry (not haiga); haiku must be 'original' and 'unpublished', plus not be under consideration or published elsewhere (in duplicate), and printed neatly or typed on 3x5 cards to:

on the back of one card only, include your name, address, phone number and email address. Entries will not be returned, so please keep copy of your submissions.
any submissions that are submitted elsewhere or have been published, will be disqualified
open-format haiku, autumn or winter season only (other seasons will not be considered), in English only
NOTIFICATION of RESULTS: please include a SASE,or an SAE with proper IRC's to cover postage, IRC's only convert to .80 cents in the USA
cost: $5.00 for two haiku which equals (1) entry, though there is no limit on the amount of entries per person; please make checks or money orders payable to 'haigaonline'
PRIZES: First Place - $50.00 US funds
Second Place - $20.00 US funds
Third Place - $10.00 US funds
our resident artist (Mary Rodning) will create haiga for each of our three winners (to be featured in the autumn/winter issue); all those who place will also receive certificates of merit from 'haigaonline'.
