Poem This Painting Challenge

An extension of our previous issue's challenge, this too was an ekphrastic exercise: write to this ink brush painting by our resident artist, Mary E. Rodning. Haibun was recommended, but in fact submissions to the challenge included haiku and tanka as well. I was delighted with the responses and how they each see the painting as opening into a different world. I hope you enjoy reading them as well!
