Few things say "winter" more than an unkempt barn or an old country house shut down for the season. We hope you'll find this photo haiga portfolio of Adelaide's as deeply touching as we did.

Adelaide writes haiku, tanka, senryu and haibun, as well as children's poetry and short fiction. She is widely published, and her haiku collection, An Unknown Road, received third place in the Haiku Association of America's Mildred Kanterman Merit Books Awards, sponsored in 2009.

Her photo haiga may be seen in Daily Haiga, Notes from the Gean and Simply Haiku, as well as here at Haigaonline and on her own blog, White Petals.
