Hiromi Inoue: resident Japanese/English translator Hirome, whose haigo (haiku pen name) is Hiromi Maya, was born in Sapporo, Japan, and works with the 'Ehime Prefecture Government.' He is a member of the Haiku International Association (HIA), Ani, (avant-garde haiku group), Ichigo Kukai (Japanese haiku in Matsuyama), and Sports Haiku Club. Hiromi was also a member of the distinguished 'shiki team' administering the 'Haikusphere', and has become very well known for his ability to translate Japanese/English. |
