Stanford M. Forrester is a haiku poet, the editor of 'bottle rockets': a collection of short verse at:

He is currently the President of the 'Haiku Society of America'.  His
haiku and senryu have appeared in 5 countries.  In 2001, he won the 'Museum of Haiku Literature's award', and 1st place in the 'Dublin (Ohio) Arts Council Haiku' contest.  Stanford has also acted as a judge for the 'Japan Society' in New York City for the past 2 years.  He is a 'Pure Land Buddhist', and writes much about Buddhism and the Zen experience.  He lives in Connecticut with his wife (Mary), and his two daughters (Abigail) and (Molly).  They keep him very busy.
